Primary Bulletin Board
Finally, here are pictures of the bulletin boards I have made for our primary. The top bulletin board is a map that I drew and hand painted with poster paints - it measures about 4ft x 5ft, it's huge! It took forever but is was fun and hopefully encourages everyone to read and move their boats around the map. For every section (paper on the left bottom corner) the children read/complete, they get a treat!
The 2nd bulletin I just love! The pictures are so beautiful of the Savior, and I think it displays the message very well "Jesus Christ is the perfect example to me". I included the CTR shield to represent this years primary theme - Choose the Right. I like how the layout turned out clean and simple highlighting the Savior. My cell phone pictures don't do it justice, it cut off the sides and boarder, I need to get better photo's, lol.

He Lives & He Loves Me
I was inspired to create this page for the More Than Words challenge "Harmony & Song Lyrics", August 2017.
The song I choose for my layout inspiration is by Anji Branch and Monica Scott "He Lives and He Loves Me". The chorister at my church introduced this song to our primary children about two months ago, we sing it each Sunday and it has been stuck in my head ever since. The song is brand new, (I think it was published in April 2017) - the melody is beautiful, it's sung by children, here is the link: - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WVvjbOcBvs , if you have a moment take a listen, you won't be disappointed!
The words, the music, and the meaning of this song bring peace and harmony to my life. And though it may seem a bit strange to create a scrapbook layout of the Savior - because His face is beautiful alone, I couldn't resist! I'm am just learning, I didn't know what mixed media was until May 2017. I stumbled upon a sale at my craft store for Martha Stewart Craft punches and was looking for ways to use them - while doing research I stumbled upon this amazing world of art and mixed media, now I can't get enough!! This is also my first layout, I hope to make many more in the future. Thanks for this opportunity, and thank you for all the beautiful layouts my eyes have feasted upon - on your blog, "More than Words"!
